I cannot believe they rejected you like that!!!!!
No wait I can, people do that...alot. I think you'd get along great with my family, Mom and Dad always encouraged free thinking.
Actually I have a similar take on that, I was lucky and used a metaphor(I guess) I said that it is like a great diamond.(the discussion was religion)
And that you actually need diversity. Like the facets on a diamond the more you have the more beautiful it becomes. I remember hearing one of my classmates later telling someone what I said, they had only remembered that I had said that religion was like a diamond, kinda missed the point.
About this picture: I'da added glowing creepy eyes to the top, but may have just ruined the emptyness of the pic.
I talk too much on the comments lol

Because there was this discussion in class, and people were inputting their opinions for discussion and to further advance our topic and stuff. I mentioned how I believe everything; religion, politics, families, cultures; are the same, just based off of different perceptions. And if everyone has their own interpretations, then there can be no singular "It", no definite "This is right, you're all wrong", because everyone's opinion/belief is valid. I was also agreeing with this guy we read about who says it's natural for people to learn to hate, because it's a part of the human psyche.
But then I just got slammed with mean stuff, and people disagreeing with my opinion up and down. I was just stating my opinion, I wasn't trying to force my opinion on anyone, but then a lot of people ganged up on me and it got kind of hostle to where I just slunk back and sat quietly. >< It was actually quite scary...I dunno, I just think everyone's opinions and beliefs are valid and I know my own are not the definite right one...
